Christmas 2004

The above three pictures, about tell it all.

I could go in to detail what we have experienced this past year, the operation all three of them took the air out of Susie's sails, but not her spirit. The Care Giver, finding a part of me that I didn't know was there, and I wear it like a shiny badge in the bright sun.

Susie has conflict with her bile duct, the one duct is smaller and requires a stint to have bile fluid transfer. Susie was bit on the forefinger while breaking up our dogs fighting recently. Seems Hattie Pitty Patty has coped an attitude with Scarlet, after all of these years of getting along, she comes on fire with sparks flashing off her grinding teeth when she sees her. Then The Dunk not wanting to miss out on the fun and action, will hit Scarlet's stifle with Hattie hanging on the other end, WFW Tag Team fashion. Poor Scarlet is snapping yipping and yelling when Susie sticks her hand in the mist of a buzz saw.

Since the operation; Susie's immune system has bottomed out, with her forefinger getting infected, resulting in going to Emergency to have the wound opened and cleaned to remove the infection the following day, then an intravenous antibiotic drip. She has to be so careful. Other then those two incidents, she has it all going in her direction.

Buried a bunch of friends this year, Scarlet lost her skip in her get-a-long, went to a lot of get to-get-hers with good food, had Thanksgiving for the family at our house. Was nice seeing people you know and family, standing & talking, in place of looking down on them. My health sounds like I am either lying or braggen, truth of the matter beside being one, the only thing wrong with me is hemorrhoids. Other than that I sit around and talk and hear from whom is left in my social-universe, about their aches, pains, with bowel movement updates. I just grin, nod my head up and down, then smile being alive when I wake up each morning, searching for my slippers.

After these many years, I have finished up working on the house, have a couple more things to do, but nothing of major labor, money, or time. With the house done, or done enough to where I can spend the winter behind my computer and get serious with researching Seely's Ditch, and see where it, Seely's Ditch takes me. In 1830 a man named Morris Seely dug a canal that became a ditch, all kind of things happened, and I plan to do it in hard copy, then put it on my website. Lets see where I am next year, stay tuned.
